Make tracks to Riverbanks for one wild 5k race that benefits wildlife conservation!Event Registration
Pre-registration: (January 1–March 25)
$35 Riverbanks members and $40 general public
You may also pre-register at Strictly Running (2515 Devine St, Columbia) on March 26 and 27. Day-of registration will open onsite at Riverbanks on March 28 at 6:30am. Fees for all registrants after March 25 will be $45.
The wild run will wind through the park’s scenic back roads, cross the Saluda River, and pass some of the most popular exhibits in the Zoo!
Entry fees include a commemorative Riverbanks Run T-Shirt, admission into the Zoo on race day, and complimentary refreshments at the finish line. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after March 25.
Friday, March 27:
Packet Pick-Up and Registration, 11:00am–6:00pm at Strictly Running (2515 Devine St, Columbia).
Saturday, March 28:
Day-of Registration, 6:30am at Riverbanks. Race Begins at 7:30am.
Proceeds support ongoing conservation and education efforts at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden.

Where and when do I pick-up race packets?
Race packets include race numbers, T-shirts and other information that will be useful in advance of the race. We highly encourage all participants to pick up their packets prior to race morning to ensure the race starts on time. Packet Pick-Up is scheduled for Friday, March 27 from 11:00am–6:00pm at Strictly Running (2515 Devine St, Columbia).
Can my family get into the Zoo for free if I’m a runner or walker?
Only registered racers and walkers will receive free admission into the Zoo. All participants must present race bib on race day to receive complimentary admission.
Are strollers permitted?
Strollers are permitted at the back of the 5k race.
Where should I park?
Parking will be in the Blue Lot at the main Zoo entrance only, 500 Wildlife Parkway, Columbia SC. Follow the signs.
