Riverbanks Scares up a Fall Favorite

Experience Howling Halloween Fun during Boo at the Zoo and Dinos too!

[Columbia, SC] — Treat your flock to 13 wild nights of spooktacular adventures when Boo at the Zoo returns to Riverbanks beginning Friday, October 18.

Brought to you by SC Farm Bureau, Boo at the Zoo offers guests safe, affordable, family-friendly Halloween festivities. Trick-or-treat throughout the Zoo, frolic in Frankenstein’s Foam Zone, enjoy Halloween hocus pocus with Ray’s Moonlight Magic and rock the night away at Mummy’s Eeky Freaky Dance Party.

Admission to Boo also includes Dinosaurs Around the World. Brave explorers will encounter some of the fiercest and most iconic dinosaurs in the primitive habitat that features more than 25 life-size, life-like creatures. Guests will travel to the Mesozoic Era and the supercontinent of Pangea when these ancient animals roamed all corners of the globe.

Boo at the Zoo will take place — rain or shine — October 18–30 from 6:00pm–9:00pm. Tickets are limited and should be purchased in advance online. Advance admission is $11 for Riverbanks members and $13 for the general public. Children under 2 will be admitted free. Any unsold tickets purchased at the gate will be $13 for members and $15 for the general public.

For an additional charge, guests also are invited to roast s’mores, take a spin on the Haunted Carousel or hop aboard the Spooky Spots and Stripes Railroad. Trick-or-treating is reserved for kids 12 and under; children should bring their own reusable bags or containers. Costumes are encouraged. Adults may also wear costumes but cannot wear masks that cover the face.

Event parking is available on the Zoo side only at 500 Wildlife Parkway in Columbia.
