Sloths’ get camouflage with help from algae! Their fur has special grooves in it that help algae grow. The greenish color of the algae helps the sloth blend in with rainforest trees. By blending in, sloths can stay safe from predators.

Diet:
Hoffman’s two-toed sloths eat tropical fruit and leaves. They mainly feed at night in order to avoid faster-moving predators.
Habitat:
Tropical rainforests in South America.
