| Experience Riverbanks Zoo through the eyes of the animal care staff. Walk on the “wild side” as you get an inside look at some out-of-sight places. Explore the animal hospital, take a peek inside the animal kitchen, and meet a live animal! Adventure Tours allow participants to marvel at the unique challenges of animal care and the amazing efforts that go into creating and sustaining a world-class zoo. This fun-filled tour ends with a tasty treat. |

Tours take place Saturdays at 11:00am and last about an hour. |

Tour participants will meet a tour guide in Carousel Plaza. To ensure the best quality experience, we ask that participants arrive on time.. |

All tours visit the animal hospital, animal kitchen and an off-exhibit animal area. |

All tours include a live animal encounter. |

Tours include take-home items and a coupon for a free refreshment (available the day of the tour). |

Space is limited: Tours can accommodate up to 12 guests. |

Tickets: $20 for Riverbanks members, $25 for general public. |

Tours are designed for adults and older children. Recommended age range is 8 and up. The information and areas visited during the tours are recommended for an older audience, so young children may not be as interested during the tour. All children must be accompanied by an adult. |

Will we touch an animal?
All tours include an animal encounter. Animals may change weekly, depending on availability. |

Do I need to purchase tickets ahead of time?
Due to space limitations, we recommend that you purchase tickets in advance of the tour date. Tours can accommodate up to 12 guests. If space is still available, tickets may be purchased at the front gate on the day of the tour. |

I’ve preregistered. Where do I get my tickets?
The tour guide will have your receipt. Meet the tour guide on the day of the tour in the Carousel Plaza. Show the tour guide your ID that matches the name on the tickets. |

Where is Carousel Plaza?
Carousel Plaza is located beside the Koala Knockabout exhibit and Boomerang Gift Shop. Seating is available in the plaza. |
