Rhythm and Blooms Rolls On Beginning Thursday, May 5
[Columbia, SC] — Experience the beat of Rhythm and Blooms at Riverbanks Botanical Garden every Thursday night in May. The popular spring series begins Thursday, May 5.
Bring your family and friends, a lawn chair or blanket and unwind with music and flowers after-hours. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, plus an opportunity to explore Waterfall Junction—Destination Riverbanks’ all-new 3-acre children’s garden. Splash in and under a 25-foot cascading waterfall, unearth a life-size replica of T-Rex, frolic between giant tree houses and kid-sized play houses, pop in and out of rabbit holes and more.
The Rhythm and Blooms musical lineup features:
- May 5: Eight Track Parade — Classic Rock and Funk
- May 12: Reggie Sullivan — Alternative Soul Rock
- May 19: Bobby Houck of the Blue Dogs — American Country Rock
- May 26: Whiskey Tango Revue — Alternative Country Rock
Rhythm and Blooms will take place every Thursday in May from 6:00pm–9:00pm. Food and beverages, including a cash bar, will be available for purchase.
Admission is free for Riverbanks members and $5 for the general public. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online. Members must present a valid membership card and picture ID at the gate (guest passes will not be accepted).
Parking and entry to the event will be available on the Botanical Garden side only. Guests can access the Garden entrance from U.S. 378 via Mohawk and Seminole Drives.
