| Riverbanks Introduces Rhythm and Blooms |

[Columbia, SC] -Every Thursday in May, Riverbanks Botanical Garden will open its doors from 6 to 9pm for Rhythm and Blooms, an after hours social event. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, displays from local artists and food and wine sampling from featured retailers throughout the Midlands. “The Garden is at its peak right now, and we are delighted to share its beauty with the public,” said Andy Cabe, curator of horticulture at Riverbanks Botanical Garden. “This event will also allow us to showcase the Garden to a crowd that may not visit during the day.” With a different band and featured retailer every week Rhythm and Blooms promises a new and exciting experience each Thursday in May. In addition to the sampling, a cash bar and gourmet picnic dinners will be available for purchase. Tickets are $5 for members, $7 for the general public and are available on site or online at www.riverbanks.org.
