A little-known treasure lies beyond the wrought iron side gate in Riverbanks Botanical Garden. Nestled between the formal Walled Garden and the old growth forest hugging the Saluda River is Riverbanks' Bank of America Amphitheater, an outdoor performance venue. The domed stage opens to a gently rolling hill, inviting visitors to relax on the grass and enjoy performances such as the annual Columbia Community Concert Band program, community plays and other entertainment.
