Come and BeZooJeweled! This "girls only" Scout Program, in honor of Mother's Day and Endangered Species Day, will be a fun-filled evening of jewelry making, animal encounters, conservation education and activities that will earn credits towards your badge requirements and journeys. We will introduce you to the "bling" of the jungle and the "jewels" of the rainforest! You will meet a few of our animal ambassadors, learn about what you can do to help endangered animals, create your own handmade jewelry, enjoy live classical music with our special guests from the USC school of music… and spend some quality time with Mom (or other special lady in your life). "Moms" are invited to get in on the action and then have some fun handcrafting their own piece of jewelry to take home. The night will conclude with a beaded or bejeweled-themed SWAPs meet*.
*Please plan to participate and bring a beaded or bejeweled-themed SWAPs to exchange with your fellow Girl Scouts.
**Children may not be left unattended. Individual Scouts must be accompanied by an adult; troops should have at least one adult per 10 scouts in attendance. A minimum of 20 registered participants is required to conduct program as scheduled.
